[Odonata-l] Macromia question

Hello, all.
Looking in my collection and at photos, I see that in most species of
Macromia (river cruisers), the female wings become amber-brown with
age. In some of them, that color is apparent even in very young
individuals. I have only one female specimen of Macromia
alleghaniensis (Allegheny River Cruiser), and her wings are
uncolored. I wonder if anyone else might check collections or
definitively identified female photos (not the easiest thing in
Macromia) to see if alleghaniensis female wings also become colored
(or not!).
Thanks.
