[Odonata-l] Exophytic egg layers

Dennis and all,
I don't recall if I have ever seen eggs in envelopes with Gomphidae, but have a photo of a perched Ophiogompus female in a bush from th Ontario DSA meeting in which an egg mass is accumulated and visible beneath the tip of her abdomen. If I had cauhght rather than photographed her, I suspect she would have continued to exude eggs. The photo is at:
