I think you would have to look at both the gains (or population increases)
in fish species as well as the losses (or population declines), because I
suspect in all these aquatic systems where native fish are being lost or are
declining, non-native fish are being added or are increasing. The net effect of
this changes in fish communities could be: a) cause odonate populations to
decline; b) cause odonate populations to increase; c) leave odonate populations
essentially stable. And different species of odonates, because of, say,
different larval niches, could be affected in different ways by changes in fish
community structure.
