Try AddAll books (http://used.addall.com). If you plug in "Aquatic 
insects and oligochaetes of North and South Carolina" into their search, 
you'll come up with 5 hits. BTW, it's edited by Allison and Warren 
Brigham, and Arnold Gnilka, and it was published in 1982. Unfortunately, 
all of them are selling it for over $100.

(I own a copy of the book, and If there's specific information in the 
book you need, I can make a copy available).

Beware, some of the keys in that book (e.g., Chironomidae) are quite 
outdated, and inaccurate.
