Hello, all.

I'm posting this for Ken Tennessen, who's not a subscriber.

He is writing a book on the larvae of North American Anisoptera. I
have seen one chapter, and it should be superb. He has a publisher
already, so we can count on it some time in the future.

He still has a list of species that he hasn't been able to study, or
study adequately, and he would very much like to obtain definitely
identified larvae or exuviae of these species:

Coryphaeschna viriditas
Gynacantha ereagris
Triacanthagyna septima
Erpetogomphus heterodon
Gomphus gonzalezi
G. borealis
G. descriptus (if reared)
G. abbreviatus
Lanthus parvulus
Ophiogomphus aspersus
Phyllocycla breviphylla
Cordulegaster diastatops
Dorocordulia lepida
Somatochlora brevicincta
S. calverti
S. cingulata
S. ensigera
S. ozarkensis
S. tenebrosa
Cannaphila insularis
Erythrodiplax basifusca
Planiplax sanguiniventris
Sympetrum danae
S. janeae (or internum from New England)
Tholymis citrina

He realizes it's not an easy list, but a few of the species are
fairly common and widespread. Obviously reared specimens are the most
definitely identified, but if you're fairly sure about the
identification, that would be fine.

Thanks, and please write Ken directly if you can help him:
