Anyone with a serious interest in Odonata should consider becoming a member
of the Worldwide Dragonfly Association, which publishes this journal.
For anyone who doesn't have it, the new website address for the WDA is
_http://ecoevo.uvigo.es/WDA/_ (http://ecoevo.uvigo.es/WDA/)
The Journal has increased in quality and volume in the past few years, under
the editorship of Reinhardt Joedicke and a very capable Board of Editors.
The WDA hosts a symposium every other year, this April in Namibia, and
tentatively in Mexico in 2009. This will provide an excellent opportunity for North
American odonatologists to meet and talk with colleagues from other
countries.
DSA meetings show that odonatologists in North America are a great bunch of
people. The WDA meetings I've been to confirmed that this is a pleasantly
global condition.
