I'm still chill at coastal.edu, but the computer people at my  
university, in their infiinite wisdom, chose the first week of the  
fall semester to change to a new mail server and make other large  
network changes, so perhaps that explains the bouncing e-mails.   
Thanks for your comments, and to tell you the truth, I feel guilty at  
being the only one reading some of the very helpful advice and  
anecdotes that's come from the ode surveying community.  I doubt  
anyone feels this is a waste of odonata-L bandwidth!

And Bob, at least one other correspondent had fingered you as someone  
I should definitely consult, so I'm glad you did write.
