[Odonata-l] Damselfly identification please...

Hi, Michael:
Oh, yeah, those little blue insects. Ah, only wistful memories nowadays. We
know it ain't Ischnura verticalis.
It's an Enallagma. If you happen to have a lateral view (closeup) of the
terminal appendages it would help a lot. E. civile (Familiar Bluet) and a
few others (E. cyathigerum/annexum/vernale or even E. boreale) can't be
ruled out (at least by me) at this point. E. hageni (Hagen's Bluet) and E.
ebrium (Marsh Bluet) are also possibilities but from what little I can see
of the cerci in your image, they don't look quite right for those species.
