The picture provided looks like Lestes concinnus recorded from Fujian,
Guangdong, Guangxi and Hong Kong in China.
Note Lestes umbrinus and L. concinnus are difficult to separate and were
once considered synonyms. Sui & Sun (1984) list umbrinus from China but do
not list concinnus in their 1984 book, but their drawings provided in figs
209a, b are much closer to concinnus than to L. umbrinus. Lai (1971)
recorded umbrinus from Hong Kong (doubtful record) but concinnus was
subsequently recorded by Hill (1982) in Hong Kong. For a comparison of L.
umbrinus, L. concinnus and L. nodalis see Lieftinck (1960: 230-234). Hua
(2000) recorded concinnus from Guangdong. Records of umbrinus in China
require conformation.
