The current North American Bird Bander - Vol31 No1 Jan-Mar 2006 contains an article on pp 1-4 on "Removing Dragonflies from Mist Nets" by Sue and John Gregoire. The article targets the burgeoning interest in Odonata and the potential contributions to the science by bird banders. Dragonfly anatomy and techniques for safe removal from avian mist nets is presented and supported by line drawings.  Current editions of this journal are not available on line and are by membership subscription only.
