Hi Dan,
I guess the correct reference is

Moore NW (1960): The behaviour of the adult dragonfly. In: Corbet PS, Longfield C, Moore NW, "Dragonflies", pp. 106-126. Collins, London.

In this chapter of the book Moore describes and gives the results of his original experiment on adult displacement in Ceriagrion tenellum, but I can't find much regarding Ischnura, however.
